Tena Koutou Katoa It is a privilege to be the Principal of Whangaroa College and I enjoy the many challenges that are associated with the position. I believe that if there is no challenge then there is no growth. I am committed to ensure our students at Whangaroa College receive the best education and opportunities possible. I do not see isolation as a barrier but as an opportunity to embrace the modern technological developments that lead the way in distance learning and multi media communication. Although sport and culture play an important role in life I believe a good balance of academia is integral for all individuals to be successful in life. My philosophy on education is “every child has a quality and it is our responsibility as educationalist to identify that quality and ensure the maximum potential is achieved”. At Whangaroa College I ensure a safe learning environment is provided and maintained where both students and teachers are encouraged to work and learn together. Jack Anderson |
